The Keep Baltic Tidy Organisation (KBT) is a network which works with sustainable development issues through its member organisations in the Baltic Sea Region. Founded in 1993 on the initiative of Sweden and Finland, it initiates, implements and develops environmental projects for the general public. The main target group of the projects in the network is the private person and their aim is to contribute to a sustainable development in the Baltic Sea area.

Activities around the Baltic Sea

The members in Keep Baltic Tidy are NGO´s operating in the countries around the Baltic Sea; Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Russia and Sweden. Focus areas are environmental issues in guest harbours and marinas, Blue Flag activities, ECO schools, and public awareness campaigns.

The network has also arranged conferences and education seminars for target groups. Keep Baltic Tidy is also a member in Baltic 21.
